Marketing Job Summary

Are you looking to join an amazing team? This job is for two companies under one umbrella. We are seeking an experienced, creative marketing employee to join our growing organizations. In this position, you will use a multitude of platforms to convert ads and promotions into increased revenue for our companies. You will seek to increase and build brand awareness through both traditional and new media campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts

  • Build brand awareness through all media outlets

  • Plan sales and advertising campaigns

  • Collect and analyze market research data

  • Track growth on social platforms

  • Identify potential markets and ways to grow

  • Work within various multimedia outlets to promote services and products

  • Design and oversee ad layouts

  • Decide which media format best suits the assignment

  • Present new projects and ideas

  • Work within a team and inspire

  • Establish beneficial pricing strategies

  • Negotiate advertising contracts

  • Communicate with stylists and help create content

  • Maintain Content calendar (stories and hard posts) with a minimum of two weeks

  • Monthly newsletters and weekly marketing emails

  • Update websites; increase SEO

  • Updates highlights on IG weekly

  • Be available to be at events/classes for social media content opportunities that may not fall within the normal work hours

  • Capture varied events and classes

  • We like to create unique content outside of the salon

  • Manage and oversee social media content

  • Measure the success of every social media campaign

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization

  • Engage with other local businesses

  • Create Giveaways and grow social engagement

  • Maintain reputation on yelp; adding new content weekly

  • Answering DM’s and engaging with comments on social media

  • Build relationships with local businesses through social media


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, advertising, and brand management

  • Experience in website design and content development

  • Plus if you have used programs Wix and Squarespace

  • Stellar writing and oral communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of current and relevant markets

  • Willingness to try innovative marketing strategies

  • Excellent time management, able to balance many projects at once

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
